Anna Vlahos created this series of jewellery for the group exhibition “Values”.
“I approached values from the perspective of storytelling, and how that is the way that values and morals have traditionally been passed on.
Most famous of all is Aesopos and his many fables.
I decided to illustrate one of his fables and went with “The mischievous Dog” which illustrates wisdom, and the lack of it. The dog's owner makes him wear a bell because he is so troublesome and the dog lacks the wisdom to realise it is not a reward but a sign of his own foolishness. An older, wiser dog point out his folly.”
