Lily Preve was born in Athens. She studied Graphic Arts - Graphic Design at the University of West Attica. She attended workshops on Jewelry Design and Construction, Conceptual Workshops, and Workshops with Greek and Foreign creators at the Anamma Art Jewelry School. She also takes classes in Printmaking and Sculpture. She has participated in exhibitions in Greece and abroad. She lives and works as an independent jewelry designer in Athens, Greece.
Coming from the field of applied arts, she learned to observe, experiment, compose, and apply. Her involvement in the field of contemporary art jewelry opened up new avenues of expression for her.
An organic or inorganic form, something specific or abstract, can become a source of inspiration and a means of creation, an object of study and implementation.
Her pursuit is to communicate the manual act of her work, to evoke feelings in the viewer-observer. To provoke and invite interest.
